I should really be in bed. Somehow Icame across this Myspace page dedicated to Titanic Love Affair. What’s that about?

I think most of you know of my disdain for most rock and roll, or more accurately, guitar-based “alternative” rock. I mean, if you have to listen to guitars, it had better be something  meaty like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Big Black, etc. Honestly, I had never heard, or listened to TLA before, but I was pretty impressed with “Planet Strange” and the cover of Carole Kings “It’s Too Late.”

So going back to my original question. What’s the background on this page? Whom is behind it? Does Lars (and the rest of the former band) know he/they are being stalked?

Dateline Chicago-

Brian Robinson, aka “Galva”, has been located living and working right under our noses here in Chicago.

Details are still VERY sketchy, but here is what we do know. Galva still lives in Chicago and, contrary to earlier reports, still does work for Survey Center in downtown Chicago. Galva has NOT been contacted at this point but here is his contact info thus far:

Leroy garbage picked a Farfisa organ or keyboard or whatever it is called. I think he saw a guy pushing it down the street in a shopping cart? Maybe he paid $25 for it. I can’t remember if we ever got it working, but as you can see, we did get it taken apart. Galva was doing all the actual fixing attemps. I think I was just fiddling. Leroy took this picture in the office of Propaganda. Click on it to see it bigger. Check out the awesome old Mac on the desk. That’s where Galva worked on the accounting program for two or three years without ever actually doing any accounting. I think the most use that thing got was when we used it to play Risk for hours on end.

Here’s the story of how I learned that Galva wasn’t his real name. This picture is from the early Propaganda days.

One time an old lady called the house and asked for Brian Robinson. Who? I told her there was nobody there by that name. She insisted that her grandson did and then sounded kind of confused after I quite firmly and possibly even rudely told her there was absolutely nobody living there by the name of Brian Robinson. When someone asked who was on the phone I told them it was some confused old lady with a wrong number looking for her grandson Brian Robinson.

Neil makes the first purchase from Randy’s ill-fated skateshop that had Mike Timble as a silent partner. It was called You Mom’s Skate Shop. I think we made one wholesale order. Somewhere in my basement I still have a baggie full of kingpins. This was taken in my bedroom in the Yellow House or second TSG house across the street from the first one on Nevada.

Galva aka Brian Robinson, has seemingly fallen off the face of the earth. Where is our beloved Galva? Does anyone know? Does anyone even have a lead? I recall that the esteemed Tall Rich, Esq., had some sort of brief e-mail contact with him a few months back, but then there was radio silence from Galva’s end.

I have heard dark rumours about Galva via an unlikely source. Briefly, the somewhat insane Rita Huang, erstwhile personal assistant to the evil Lee Artoe (now deceased), the original Propaganda landlord at 1243 W. Belmont Ave., stopped by Propaganda’s office on Lincoln Ave., about a year ago.

Rita allegedly hangs out at the Chineese restaurant down the street so is in the area on occaision. I saw her coming in, and so I fled, not having the time or energy to engage her in a prolonged and annoying conversation where I could hardly decipher her through her thick Chineese accent and obvious, but mild psychological issues.

However, she relayed some stories to one of my employees. Here is a summary of what she knew about Galva. I have not been able to check the veracity of this information, but here goes.

1-Galva had left his position at the marketing research company (Survey Center?).

2-He had gone BACK to work helping manage all of Lee Artoe’s residential properties. Remember, this is years after Artoe had Galva arrested for mismanagement of money in this same capacity.

3-Galva was working part-time at night as a bar tender, but she did not remember the name of the bar.

As far as I can tell, Galva is still in Chicago, but has gone underground to avoid TSG detection.

Any ideas on how to dig up Galva? Let’s track his ass down.
